lessons 3 and 4 (last) of MyCreativeClassroom

Alweer meer dan een maand geleden dat ik de laatste dingen maakte, dus tijd om mijn ervaringen op mijn blog te zetten:

In les 3 waren de opdrachten In the 3rd lesson we had the next assignments :

bloementuin te tekenen (bijv. met de 08) en in te tanglelen met de 01. Deze langs de lijnen 'direct' in te kleuren en te vervagen met een nat penseel of een 'kwast-pen' (brushpen). Voor het tekenen van de bloemen heb ik mijn tangles: Roas2 en Bloom AdL gebruikt op stelen van de tangles Vines en Btl Joose. Ik heb geen penseel of brush-pen bij de hand dus ik heb de blender gebruikt. Voor de groenen heb ik mijn alcoholmarkers gebruikt. 
Drawing a flower garden (fi with the 08), to tangle it in with the 01. Then color along the lines 'direct'ly and to blend it with a wet brush or brush-pen. To draw the flowers I used my tangle Roas2 and Bloom AdL on stems of Vines and Btl Joose. I do not have a brush or brush pen near so I used the blender of my aquamarkers. To make the greens I used my alcohol markers.

of een andere opdracht met blaadjesvormen met dezelfde techniek - die heb ik niet gedaan. Or the other assignment with leafs and the same technique - but I didn't do that one.

   De derde opdracht was "cross hatching" , dit is kruislings arceren met kleurpotlood. Cross hatching is lijnen tekenen parallel naast elkaar en daarna met een andere of dezelfde kleur er dwars overheen te kruisen. Dichte lijnen geven dan veel 'schaduw' en lijnen niet zo dicht op elkaar geven dan meer 'licht'. Ik heb hiervoor een sjabloon van een toekan gepakt.  Deze ingetangled en daarna met de scrumble-techniek ingekleurd met verschillende kleuren (ook over elkaar heen). De zo gekleurde toekan heb ik toen met een witrand uitgeknipt. Het sjabloon heb ik daarna op een creme-kleurig papier nogmaals getekend maar nu alleen de buitenranden. Tegen deze buitenranden aan heb ik de cross hatching toegepast. Eerste laag was bruin, daarna paars, donkergroen en donkerblauw. De laatste 2 kleuren heb ik in dezelfde richting ge-arceerd, zodat het dichter van kleur werd.

The third assignment was "cross hatching", pulling lines with pencil parallel to eachother and then with another or the same colors drawing parallel lines cross the first ones. Lines close to eachother give more 'shade' and lines with open spaces between them give more 'light'. I used in this example the stencil of a tucan. I tangled it in and color it with the scrumble technique with different colors (also across the other colors). The so colored tucan I cut it out with a white space around it. The stencil I have drawn again on a broken white colored paper but now only the outer lines.These lines were the contours of my cross hatching. First layer was brown, second purple, then darkgreen and darkblue. The last 2 colors I hatched them the same way, so the color would be darker.

Les 4 (en ook laatste les) was het uitproberen van de bekende technieken op andere materialen. Lesson 4 (and last lesson) was trying familiar techniques on different materials.

Eerste opdracht: Watercolor Resist Technique - Waterverf - afstotende Techniek. In deze opdracht was de bedoeling om eerst op papier met een lijm-pen te tanglelen of iets eenvoudigs te tekenen. Als dit volledig gedroogd is, moest er met de indirecte blend-methode (zie les 1 en 2) met een penseel of brush-pen een achtergrond kleur geverfd worden. Als dat dan weer droog was, moest je met de indirecte blending details inkleuren. Deze opdracht heb ik later pas toegepast. Ik zal naar dit bericht dan verwijzen.

First assignment: Watercolor Resist Technique - watercolorpaint - resisting technique. In this assignment you had to tangle first with a gluepen on paper or to draw something simple. When this was completely dry, we had to color with indirect blending (see lesson 1 and 2) with a brush of brushpen a background. I that was dry, we had to color details with indirect blending. I didn't do this assignment at first. I will make a link to this post when I put it on this blog.

Tweede opdracht: Tekenen met een gelpen op perkament-achtig papier aan de voorzijde en aan de achterzijde inkleuren met aquamarkers. Zoals je ziet heb ik het sjabloon er weer bijgepakt en op 1 doorschijnend papier een jongetje in getekend met een witte gelpen.

Second assignment: Draw with a gelpen on vellum on the front and color it with aquamarkers on the backside. As you see I took my stencils again and drew on 1 vellum a boy with the white gelpen. 

Derde opdracht: dikker papier, wit of zwart, in'krassen' en daarna met potlood inkleuren (papier/karton). Ik heb verschillende materialen gebruikt: een witte tile  en een zwarte tile. Ik heb als eerste de witte ingekrast met  een naald (witte tile) en een blauwe balpen (zwarte tegel). Later had ik voor de perkament opdrachten een embossingpen. Ik heb de opdrachten dus niet op volgorde uitgevoerd ;-) .

Dit kon dus ook met perkament-achtig papier: een tekening op perkament indrukkend tekenen en daarna op de achterzijde inkleuren met aquamarkers, zie de bloemen AH-131.

Third assignment: thicker paper / cardboard, white or black, scratch a drawing/tangle, then color it with pencil. I used a white tile and a black tile. First I scratched the white tile with a needle and the black tile I impressed with a blue ballpoint.

Drawing could also be done one a vellum and color it with aquamarkers- see the flowers AH-131.

Aan het eind heb ik de verschillende opdrachten gecombineerd tot kaarten Het jongetje op gekleurd karton en het bloemige perkament op de zwarte tegel. At the end I combined the different assignments to make cards. The boy on top of colored cardboard / thicker paper and the flowers-vellum on the black impressed tile.

Ik ben blij dat ik deze cursus gedaan heb. Ik heb nu weer meer technieken tot mijn beschikking om leuke dingen te maken. Dank je wel, Marie Browning voor de lessen en Tombow voor de mogelijkheid voor internet cursussen.
