Roy's Monotangle challenges #5 en #6

Oei, tijd gaat snel met zoveel leuke dingen om ons heen. Ik zit nu in de maand waarin alle drie onze kinderen jarig zijn. Nr 2 is net jarig geweest en over 2 weken zijn nr 1 en 3 (op dezelfde dag) aan de beurt. Nog genoeg creatieve dingen in het vooruitzicht voor de traktaties op school. En dan ook nog de troonwisseling op koninginnedag gevolgd door de meivakantie. Het wordt nog feestelijk genoeg de komende weken.
Ooh, time flies with so many nice things around me. I am now in our celebration month in which our three kids all celebrate their birthdays. Nr 2 just got a year older and in 2 weeks nr 1 en 3 celebrate theirs (on the same day). Enough creativity to go when we have to make their treats for their classmates. And also the succesion of our Queen(s) and King on Queensday followed by a two week May-holidays. Celebration doesn't stop coming weeks.

Maar eerst heb ik de monotangle challenges van Roy gemaakt in de afgelopen week.
But first I made the monotangle challenges of Roy last week.

#5 W2: in het weekend van de stempelbeurs logeerde ik bij goede vrienden van ons. Voor het slapen heb ik de W2-uitdaging opgepakt. Op een stempel afdruk natuurlijk ;) Ik heb het eenvoudig gehouden. De stempel was al ingewikkeld genoeg, dus ik heb het bij het basispatroon gehouden getekend met een groene glitter gelpen.
#5 W2: in the stamp event weekend I stayed with good friends of us. Before sleeping I took the W2 challenge. On a stamp print ofcourse. I kept it simple. The stamp was 'difficult' enough so I stuck to the basic tangle and drawned it with a green sparkle gelpen.


#6 Auraknot: Ik had enkele dagen voordat de challenge uitkwam al even met Auraknot zitten spelen, dus dat kwam leuk uit. Ik wilde deze tangle in een ZIA weergeven. Dat betekent bij mij vaak een sjabloon - deze keer van een vlinder. Daarna vond ik het nog niet genoeg en heb mijn liefde voor tanglelen weergegeven in een Auraknot-hart (uit de losse pols).
#6 Auraknot: A few days before the challenge came I had already played with Auraknot, so that was a nice coincidence. I wanted to make a ZIA with this tangle. In this case this meant a stencil of a butterfly. I couldn't stop making one ZIA so I showed my love for Tangling in an Auraknot-ted-heart (free hand). 

Alleen dat zwart-witte vond ik wel erg kaal. De vlinder heb ik ingekleurd met Spectrum Noir alcohol markers en het hart met Letraset aquamarkers. In beide ZIA's heb ik ook de eigen blender toegepast. Bij de alcoholmarkers zie je het effect dat de kleur een tintje lichter wordt niet echt duidelijk. Bij de aquamarkers heb ik veel minder kleur gebruikt en de blender de kleuren naar buiten vervaagd, dus dat valt meer op.
But only black&white was to empty for me. I colored the butterfly with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and the heart with Letraset Aquamarkers. In both ZIA's I used the blenders of the same brands. With the alcohol markers you don't see the effect the blender has on the colors getting a tone lighter. With the aquamarkers I used less color so you see the blendering of the color to the outer site quite better.
