6 en 7 april Zentangle op ArtSpecially Event 2013

Door de organisatie van ARTSpecially zijn we uitgenodigd om Zentangle te presenteren op de stempelbeurs in Zeist op 6 en 7 april a.s. Maria Vennekens en ik zijn daar aanwezig en we geven ook korte workshops.
Hierdoor vervalt de workshop-mogelijkheid in Gouda, maar wie weet zien we jullie in Zeist!

spelen met Letraset aquamarkers / playing with Letraset aquamarkers

Door ziekte (wéér een griepje, bleh) tijd en gelegenheid mijn nieuwe aquamarkers van Letra (set 2) uit te proberen. Eerst wat kleurtjes naast elkaar, uitproberen hoe de blender werkt en dan tanglelen, natuurlijk:

Het zal vast wel opvallen dat het straks alleen maar tangles (patronen) zullen zijn die in het boekje van de Zentangle-kit zitten.

Première: Eerste Zentangle 106 Workshop door Elefantangle

Hoera, de eerste workshop is een feit. Nieuwe mensen ontmoet die ook nieuwe dingen hebben geleerd. Ik vond het erg leuk dat ik jullie (verder) mocht introduceren in Zentangle. Dank jullie wel voor jullie aanwezigheid Cynthia, Yona, Nadira, Diane en Leo.

Underneath the pictures I took of you and your work:

Eerst aan de slag met de basis - tegel, stippen, kader. Daarna tangles Msst, Fescu, Knightbridge en Striping, schaduw, initialen, naam en datum.

Aquarel 'zelfportret' workshop

Afgelopen zondag een workshop gevolgd in de kerk. Maak een zelfportret met de dingen die je leuk / mooi / interessant vindt. Natuurlijk zit er ook Zentangle in! Nu, dit is mijn resultaat:

Ik heb me uitstekend vermaakt - dat kun je bedenken. Het was 's middags in de kerk nog niet af, dus met mijn verjaarscadeau - aquarelverf + toebehoren - afgemaakt. Blij dat je met de Sakura fineliners over ge-aquarelleerd papier kunt tekenen. Ik ben zeer blij met het resultaat!

Jammer dat het bij het kopiëren vanuit een .pdf een aantal witte plekken krijgt waar zwart of donkerblauw zat...

Last sunday in church we had workshops after the service. One of the workshops was "make a selfportrait" with aquarelpaint. In the portrait we had to draw/paint the things we like instead of a painted face. Ofcourse there is Zentangle in it.
I had a great time, you can image that. After time was up, my work wasn't finished so with the aquarelpaint + supplies I was given for my birthday I finished the piece at home. I am glad the Sakura Micron Fineliners do great on the painted areas. 
I am very pleased with the result: it makes me happy every time I see it.

Unfortunately copying the scanned .pdf to .jpg/.png gave a few white spots where black or dark-blue was painted / written ...
